Abstract

This study, published in February 2023*, introduces a complex, novel and undefined subject. Therefore, it incorporates data extracted from the reality of that moment related to “work in the metaverse”, which in some way allow us to delve into what could become a future, not at all near, but highly uncertain. In truth, this work represents a challenge and, although it involves a risk, it tries to be an exercise of “labor legal imagination” with practical projections, which reach those we call “meta-workers”, “meta-organizations”, and their avatars.
