Resumen

El propósito de este artículo es discutir la criminalización de conductas sobre la base de argumentos relativos a la dignidad humana. Se propone una versión modesta de la integración del concepto de “dignidad humana” en los debates sobre la criminalización. Tras un examen crítico de ambas, tanto de la noción de ''dignidad humana como valor objetivo'', así como de la suposición de que el significado de la dignidad humana puede explicarse remitiéndose a la filosofía moral de Kant, las violaciones de la dignidad humana se caracterizan como humillaciones graves.
