Abstract

The present text exposes data concerning the origin of Comparative Law and indications about its conceptualization. It seeks to exhibit the entity of the discipline within the legal system, postulating theorizations regarding the duty to be of this matter and in order to show its current status and usefulness for any legal operator. The aim is to connect this discipline in an era of great legislative reforms, within the labor dogmatic in Argentina. The work is based on a lecture given by a comparative lawyer linked to the ILO at the end of the last century. The intention is to expose the validity of this thought in current labor issues and to reveal some abusive use of Comparative Law by legislators at the time of undertaking their reforms, revealing a conflict of values.
